2nd AROME meeting Istanbul November 9-11th, 2007

After the first AROME meeting in Naples, the participants from the different Mediterranean countries presented important epidemiologic data concerning cancer incidence in this area. For all the members it clearly appears that the next helpful step might be the establishment of Mediterranean guidelines for cancer care. Those guidelines will be essential to establish treatment recommendations taking into account each country particularities. During the current meeting 8 groups (working parties) will propose the first practical AROME guidelines.
